Installing and Using the Nortel VPN Client for Windows XP, Vista, or 7
You can use these instructions for installing and using either the 32-bit or 64-bit Nortel VPN client for Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
Do NOT install the Nortel VPN client on your Micron computer - you should only install the client on your personal computer.
Note: The Nortel client that works for Windows 7 is actually made for Windows Vista. To this date, there is currently no official Windows 7 Nortel client. Testing of the Vista client has shown that it works fine with Windows 7. To meet the demand of our users, we are publishing both the client and this documentation under the "as-is" and "you will get no support" model.
Note: If you are already logged in, the Micron Remote Access page displays. Go to Step 4.
In the Email field, type your Micron e-mail address.
In the Password field, type your Micron password, and then click Submit. The Remote Access page displays.
Note: If you do not have a Micron.com account, click Sign up for a new Micron account in the group box below the login fields.
Click Windows Platform. The Windows Platform page displays.
In method 2, click either Nortel Networks Contivity VPN Client for Windows XP, Vista, or 7 (32-bit) or Nortel Networks Contivity VPN Client for Windows XP, Vista, or 7 (64-bit). A confirmation message displays asking if you want to run or save the file.
Click Save, and then save the file to the local drive.
Note: You must save the file to the local drive before installing. Do not click Run.

Click Next. The License Agreement dialog box displays.
Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button, and then click Next. The Custom Setup dialog box displays.
Leave the option that is selected in the dialog box, and then click Next. The Ready to Install the Program dialog box displays.
Click Install to begin the installation process. When the installation is complete, the InstallShield Wizard Completed dialog box displays.
If you are prompted to install the device software, click Install. Do NOT select the Always trust software from the "Nortel Networks" check box.
